Names are suggestions

Names produced by Bandmark are automatically generated suggestions. We do not claim any rights in them and you may use any name you choose, but we make no promise that a name is original, unused, or free of other people's rights.

Checks are not clearance

The name checker reports what certain public sources returned at the moment you searched. Sources can be incomplete, out of date or temporarily unavailable. A result of "no exact matches found" does not mean a name is available or legally safe to use. For legal certainty, consult a qualified trademark professional.

Third-party services

The checker queries and links to services we don't control. Their data and terms are their own.

Acceptable use

Please don't use automated scripts to send large volumes of checks through the site; the public databases we rely on are run by non-profits and ask for gentle use.

The tools are provided as they are, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on them.
